Soccer season has just started and already the girls’ teams have had some wins in the books. Last Friday night, December 9th was the preseason opener against Steele’s soccer girls.   Both Pieper teams beat them: JV won 4-0 and Varsity 3-0. 

On the JV team, Emma Jorner and Leana Lerma scored one point each and Ashtyn Hubert scored 2 goals.

For the varsity team, Zea Gonzalez #10, forward, scored 2 goals and Lucabella Davis #29, midfielder, scored the other.

The stands were full, and the crowd’s energy was amazing. Everyone’s support really helped motivate our players. 

“It always helps to have an amazing crowd watching us and cheering us on,” Katie Booze #20, a JV defender, said.

January will be full of amazing soccer games. We can keep on showing our support for our players on Friday January 6th, 2023 at 4:00 pm.
