On Thursday, December 1st from 9:00-11:00 am, students in CTE programs are hosting a Unified Recruitment Day for PRMS 8th grade students. This will help incoming 9th grade students learn about different programs by having 2-3 students per elective program host a table and answer questions they may have. PRMS students will first attend a brief meeting in the auditorium, then be released to the auxiliary gym to explore the many programs offered. 

The gym will have tables, manned by students, set up for each program interested in participating in the event. These tables will be set up before school and may have decorations, fliers, and/or videos to provide more information about the electives that may intrigue incoming students. 

“This is an opportunity for all elective programs that are tied to a course in the course guide to answer questions for 8th grade PRMS students who will be attending PHS next year.” Mr. Alvarez-Calderon said.
